Course: Introduction to Sustainable Development

On January 11, 2024, the National University of Science and Technology hosted a two-week intensive course on Sustainable Development. The event aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of sustainable practices and their application in various fields.

The course was organized by the Department of Studies and Planning and attracted a diverse group of attendees, including students, faculty members, and industry professionals. The session began with an opening address by Dr. Ali Hassan Dhaidan, Head of the Department, who emphasized the importance of sustainability in today’s rapidly changing world. He highlighted the university’s commitment to integrating sustainable practices into its curriculum and research initiatives.

This session focused on the role of government policies in promoting sustainability. Participants examined existing environmental regulations and the challenges of enforcing them.
