The Registration and Student Affairs Department is one of the important departments, as the department is responsible for all matters related to the student from the moment of acceptance until his graduation, as well as following up on the student’s conditions after graduation in terms of his appointment or completion of his graduate studies. The Registration Department is responsible for all scientific, humanitarian and educational issues and problems of students. The department is concerned with everything related to the student’s needs, starting from the student’s application for admission to the university until his graduation, follow-up and coordination between colleges in light of the general goals and requirements for community development, following up on the implementation of the decisions of higher authorities, and organizing and coordinating student admission, because the department is the link between the student and the university. An entity between the colleges and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the department is considered responsible for implementing the principles and instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education. It also works to direct and supervise all matters related to student issues that are completed through the registration departments in the colleges.

The Department of Registration and Student Affairs seeks to achieve everything that will help students and deal with their academic cases in accordance with ministerial controls and instructions, and to simplify the procedures for student affairs and radically transfer them from traditional means to modern technical means to ensure that the procedures for their admission and registration in our university colleges are easy to achieve excellence, develop work, and ensure quality performance. .

Divisions of Student Affairs And Registration
Registration and Admission Division
- Work in accordance with the student admission instructions approved in the Student Affairs Procedures Manual and admission controls and conditions.
- Receiving new accepted students for each academic year.
- Distribution of students accepted into the university’s colleges according to their admission channels approved by the Ministry’s central admission and for the morning and evening studies.
- Reviewing and preparing university orders for student admission.
- Checking the safety of students’ admission to morning and evening studies in accordance with the applicable instructions.
- Follow up on the procedures for students’ transfer to and from university colleges and implement the applicable examination instructions.
- Follow up on procedures for hosting students to and from the country’s universities.
Graduates and Certifications Division
- Preparing university orders for graduates and matching them with the name on the student’s civil status ID.
- Sending the documents of our university graduates to be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs exclusively with the authorized person.
- Confirming the authenticity of the issuance of graduates’ documents sent by state departments and cultural departments outside the country.
Documents and Certificates Division
- Preparing and organizing unified forms for the merit certificate and documents that must be approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and following up on them with colleges and institutes.
- Follow up on the attestation procedure for documents and certificates of merit at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs / attestations received from colleges and institutes and return them to them after completion.
- Confirming the validity of the issuance of documents, merit certificates, and endorsements issued by colleges and institutes that are received by the university presidency by various ministries and departments from inside and outside Iraq, in addition to Arab and international organizations, after approaching the colleges and institutes from which they were issued.
- Addressing fraud cases among graduates and students and following them up with the ministry and relevant authorities in other ministries’ departments.
- Providing the Ministry and the Office of the Inspector General with monthly reports on all authenticity books issued by colleges and institutes.
- Addressing cases of missing records for graduates in colleges and institutes.
Student Affairs Follow-up Division
- Follow up on the email of the Student Affairs and Registration Department.
- Completing the procedures for amending students’ nominations.
- Preparing students’ academic CVs according to the model approved by the Central Admissions Department in the Ministry.
- Publishing the names of the forgers in all Iraqi universities.
- Completing everything related to the procedures for transit, loading, postponement, transportation, and hosting of students.
- Preparing statistics related to the numbers of students, their names, and all required data.
