On the occasion of October (Breast Cancer Awareness Month), the Department of Scientific Affairs and the Division of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the National University of Science and Technology held a workshop entitled “Breast Cancer Forum: Early detection of breast cancer is a decisive step to save lives.”
Present at the workshop were (Prof. Dr. Sahar Ahmed Shafiq / teaching at the College of Nursing at our university), (Prof. Nermin Muhammad Al-Husri / teaching at the College of Dentistry at our university) and (Dr. Adel Odeh Al-Amiri / specializing in internal medicine and oncology/ Dhi Qar)
The organization of this workshop comes within the framework of the National University of Science and Technology’s commitment to its social responsibility in spreading health awareness and promoting disease prevention, especially breast cancer, which is one of the most common types of cancer among women in Iraq.
